The scuba diver hangs suspended above the cave floor as he begins to explore the cenote. (the spring-water filled cave) The diver can only observe his surroundings with the light he brings with him as he progresses into the depths of the cave. The divers hear only the sound of their regulators as they explore this alien world. Observers on the surface can only see the bubbles of the divers before they swim out of sight. (yes, two divers--one is in deep darkness, but a good observer will still spot his bubbles rising from his regulator)      Besides the unusual subject matter, the mats make this drawing unique as the drawing continues onto two cut mats to provide extra depth to the scene.
